Must. have. wine. a toast to motherhood - Must. Have. Wine.: A Toast to Motherhood: Katrina W Epp.

Do we need to have the champagne / wine toast? Or can guests use their own drinks? I'm not trying to sound cheap, but we are on a tight budget and it's $5.50 a glass. I know whenever I've gone to weddings most people do not drink it, so do I have to offer it? Thoughts?

We will be having a tea toast or something like that bc I am pregnant and there wont be any alcohol at the wedding. And everyone wedding Ive been to they just hold up there own glasses.

If you don't want to then don't. We did not but we did ask for him and I to have something provided and when the toast came around we were on the dance floor with our own drinks. My friend got married 2 weeks ago and paid $90 for champage glasses and after the toast the BM didn't make mention of anyone "toasting" so no one drank any champagne. Total waste of money.

A “toast” is a short speech given in honor of a particular person, group of people, or event. Toasts emphasize the positive and provide another way for everyone to celebrate. To give a great toast you will want to get to know your potential audience in advance. Your toast should revolve around a central story that is very relatable and appropriate. You will conclude by raising your glass and offering your best wishes and thanks to everyone involved.
